The university offers various undergraduate programs, from architecture, design informatics, sculpture and painting, industrial and interior design, to visual communication.

I visited this Musashino Art University 武蔵美 as part of a study program tour during my graphic design studies back in Singapore.
As a graphic design student at the time, one thing that made quite an impression on me here was their letterpress printing facility.
Letterpress printing is a printing technique that involves the direct impression of an inked, raised surface onto a flat material such as paper.

The photos shown above and below feature movable types, which are physical blocks of alphabets or characters that can be combined, arranged, and then locked into a form of bed press for letterpress printing.
